These servers are just normal people who do not own a business or an employee or a security guard, And should not have the right, Because your information will never be safe at all. ![]() I have a few statements to backup my reasonings on why it should be against discord tos, even though it's not.ġ) You are at risk of being impersonated, Meaning even though you hid the information with a marker or highlighter on your phone or PC once it's sent you're taking a big risk and anyone can un-reveal it and expose it to others.Ģ) Discord servers should not have the right to ask for this information, Their are other ways and means to verify yourself without having to give sensitive information out to public, nsfw servers or regular discord servers. Reason being is because we are talking about normal discord servers, Not a bar or stuff like that, These are normal discord servers that want this information to prove you are over 18 or you could get banned. No discord server should have the right to ask for this information. I made this post because I believe that 18+ discord servers/nsfw servers or discord servers in general that ask for your government ID/DL for verification should be against ToS of discord even though it's not, ![]()
