In fact, the current system works better for that because you can use outlines/opacity separately for much more customization. The only possible way to address issues like these is to get a monitor with enough pixels for it to not be noticeable.Īlso, if you really want to you can use the current system to make a cornerless square if you want to. g., if you have crosshair thickness 1, outline 1, and dot thickness 2, the outer lines are 3 pixels wide while the middle is just 2. Issues with crosshair + outlines are unavoidable. Sniper dots are big enough that there are enough pixels for circles to start to work. The vast majority of people use a dot smaller than that, so the square implementation makes more sense. You need a circle at least 7 pixels across to even approach being a proper circle, below that it's just a square with no corners. It's like trying to build a circle in minecraft. ![]()
